The Barrio de los Sapos is considered a tourist attraction in the city of Puebla. It, along with its historical spaces, is also mutating and it is inevitable to resist the architectural, economic, social and cultural changes that are taking place. However, with the passing of the years and when the last people of this place are also transformed, who will tell us their stories?

 

"The memory of the frogs" it is the beginning of a visual collection, born from the desire to treasure, preserve and contribute to the collective memory of the Barrio de los Sapos.

 

The first phase of this project consists of a physic portfolio containing 10 photographs printed in gelatin silver, size 8x10, on ILFORD fiber paper. The second phase, pretending to be a photobook.
