What is?
The Photo Lab of Emotions is a collective space dedicated to the creation, experimentation and approach to photography.
It is built through photographic and playful exercises; reflections about self-knowledge, environment and community.
What did we?
We developed an artistic program for children, based on photography, which stimulated creativity, self-knowledge and recognition of emotions. In addition, we promoted active participation in public and private spaces.
Results?
The results we obtained, in addition to a deep community, personal and professional learning, are pinhole, analog and digital photographs that document the day to day, the look, the senses and the different perspectives of the children of this community. This laboratory concluded with a collective exhibition, "Creative Flip Flops" (Chanclitas Creativas), at 175 Showroom gallery in Zipolite, where the children's creation were shown.
In May 2023, the Photo Lab of Emotions children and the team participated in the exhibition "Art, action and love: Zipolite"(Arte, acción y amor: Zipolite), at the CECUT (Centro Cultural Tijuana).
