"An inner ritual" tells the story of a woman who embarks on a journey in to her inner self, in which she seeks to understand the origin of her antibody disorder. During her journey, in addition to recognizing her own body, she wonders if there is something deeper that will lead her to healing not only physically, but also emotionally.

 

This series is built with analog color photographs in 35mm format. Some of them are made with the "film soup" technique, which consists of creating a liquid mixture with organic and inorganic elements. The film, before being exposed, is submerged in the mixture and left to rest for one to three days to then create photographs with unexpected colors, shapes and textures. 

 

"An inner ritual", speaks of resilience, healing and self - recognition.
